“Twisted  20-6” by Janet Evanovich

Kate’s 2¢: There is a plethora of in-depth biographies of authors and reviews of their books, that state the title, author, published date, and genre; as well as,     describing what the book is about, setting, and character(s), so, Kate’s 2¢ merely shares my thoughts about what I read.  I’m just saying…

Grandma Edna Mazur has an indominable spirit and spunk. She says happiness is a choice, which is saying something considering the stress and turmoil of her life.

She also feels that some people have “cracked souls” and that is why they do dumb things, like shoot other people

“Baking cookies makes the house smell happy” is another one of her theories, as she bakes dozens and dozens of cookies to share with others.

Humor is often a personal reaction, and, I must admit, I smiled and chuckled and even laughed out loud at some of the things the characters in “Twisted 20-6” said.

Thank you, Lorelei King for bringing this delightful story to life.

In “Never have I ever” Jackson develops Amy so beautifully that I found myself really pulling for her to succeed. Amy’s life began with a whole lot of strife and guilt, but she grew to be strong and fight for her family and Charlotte.

I’d like to read her other books.
