This is the time of the year when people count their Blessings. I’ve written one for each day in November I’d like to share with you.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I embrace gratitude for:<\/p>\n\n\n\n
A apricot jam on lightly toasted homemade whole wheat bread<\/p>\n\n\n\n
B Bees that produce our honey from wild flowers and clover<\/p>\n\n\n\n
C Communication devices, especially my laptop computer Windows 11 and NVDA screen reader<\/p>\n\n\n\n
D David, my husband of 55-years and counting<\/p>\n\n\n\n
E Eggs, be they scrambled, stuffed omelet, or deviled <\/p>\n\n\n\n
F Friends in Behind Our Eyes and the American Council of the Blind Community<\/p>\n\n\n\n
G Gardening for exercise and a bountiful harvest of vegetables and flowers<\/p>\n\n\n\n
H Hands that can still tie a shoelace, learn Braille, and caress a great-grandchild<\/p>\n\n\n\n
I Ice cream, homemade with orange syrup and a cherry on top<\/p>\n\n\n\n
J Justice through-out our court system, based on our Constitution of the United States of America<\/p>\n\n\n\n
K Kindred spirits who are kind to Kittens, kangaroos, and Kate<\/p>\n\n\n\n
L Laundry washer and dryer in my home<\/p>\n\n\n\n
M My mother, who brought me up to respect authority, to appreciate the beauty in Nature, and to advocate for myself <\/p>\n\n\n\n
N Nana, my grandmother with whom I have a spiritual bond <\/p>\n\n\n\n
O Opulence of my life, even though I have a dual sensory deficiency<\/p>\n\n\n\n
P Prose for the entertainment it provides<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Q Quilts I made for each of my children and the Coin Quilt I\u2019m working on<\/p>\n\n\n\n
R Running brooks and streams of clear, clean, cool water<\/p>\n\n\n\n
S Sisters and Brothers in Christ<\/p>\n\n\n\n
T Telephne visits with family and friends, as well as shopping<\/p>\n\n\n\n
U University of Rochester NY, where I earned my Masters Degree and Permanent Teacher\u2019s Certificate<\/p>\n\n\n\n
V Virtual internet connections that keep me in touch with life and the ever changing world<\/p>\n\n\n\n
W Warm clothing and bedding<\/p>\n\n\n\n
X X-ray and other technologies that detect cancer before it becomes deadly<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Y Youthful exuberance and work ethic of my progeny<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Z Zippers that don\u2019t seperate at the end<\/p>\n\n\n\n
P People who understand not to pet my guide dog while she\u2019s in harness<\/p>\n\n\n\n
O Open-mindedness to the fact that other people have issues, too<\/p>\n\n\n\n
E Existential movement toward enlightenment<\/p>\n\n\n\n
